Conference

The APSAA conference provides an opportunity for us to bring focus to the world of student accommodation and gives participants a platform to exchange ideas, discover new possibilities and celebrate the great work we are doing. The Conference is also an opportunity to reacquaint with colleagues, meet new friends, and broaden our knowledge.

The 2021 StarRez APSAA Conference will be our 29th Conference and will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, 19 - 22 April 2021.

We plan to deliver a wide-ranging program that will have relevance across the diversity of roles within the student accommodation industry.

With an underlying theme* of '2021dlu ngadluku tirntu mukapapatitya, mankurriapititya, purtatitya kuma – 2021 Our time to reflect, unite and ignite',  the Conference will provide a variety of ways in which delegates can engage and interact.

The program will again offer three streams, to provide something for everyone working in the student accommodation industry.

  • Student Experience & Wellbeing

  • Management, Operations & Finance

  • Facilities & Development

Attending the 2021 StarRez APSAA Conference is a unique opportunity to meet with industry colleagues, stay up-to-date with latest practices and innovations and the latest developments in managing students and their behaviour as well as successfully operating the business.

Why attend?

Valuable networking opportunities

Meet with industry peers and major equipment and service suppliers and increase and broaden knowledge of the whole accommodation industry.

Professional development

Share ideas, discuss latest development and innovation, such as pastoral and technological, within the industry. APSAA members can further their professional development by presenting a member paper, with one member provided the opportunity to present at ACUHO-I in the USA.

International learnings

The APSAA Conference is now internationally recognised, attracting delegates from Malaysia, China, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States of America - learn how student accommodation is operated in other countries, how you can adapt their operations to your own and share new trends and knowledge across the globe.

For enquiries, please contact the Conference team at the APSAA Office on 03 9586 6055 or email conference@apsaa.org.au.
